Outside Sales Person

CTi Controltech (CTi) is a leading Northern California Manufacturers' Representative and Distributor of industrial valves, actuators and controls. Based in San Ramon, CTi provides automated valve packages to the Refining, Power (including renewable such as Geothermal and Solar), Food, Specialty Chemicals, Mining, Semi-conductor, and OEM industries throughout Northern California as well as Northern Nevada

CTi is actively looking for an experienced technical salesperson to develop new business and manage existing accounts in Central Valley. The successful candidate will be responsible to build key relationships between new and existing customers, identify new opportunities, and meet sales objectives.

Qualifications/Skills Required
Applicants must have the following qualifications and skills:
  • A strong technical aptitude with an understanding of valves, actuators and controls.
  • 5+ years industrial outside sales experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation, high energy, and a positive attitude.
  • An ability to develop and maintain strong, on-going relationships with key customer stakeholders.

Inside Sales Person

CTi Controltech (CTi) is a leading Northern California Manufacturers' Representative and Distributor of industrial valves, actuators and controls. Based in San Ramon, CTi provides automated valve packages to the Refining, Power (including renewable such as Geothermal and Solar), Food, Specialty Chemicals, Mining, Semi-conductor, and OEM industries throughout Northern California as well as Northern Nevada

CTi is actively looking for an experienced technical INSIDE salesperson to provide direct support to Outside Sales and take direction from the CTi Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales of CTi products to business and industrial establishments over the telephone and internet, maintain accounts and conduct day to day activities to keep CTi customers satisfied. Daily activities include phone and internet correspondence with customers and vendors, provide creative, value-added solutions to customer problems, entering sales orders into the CTi computer system and working closely with the Outside Sales Staff to increase business.

Qualifications/Skills Required
Applicants must have the following qualifications and skills:
  • Experience with valves, actuators and controls or related industrial products.
  • 2+ years industrial inside sales or customer service experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm, high energy, and a positive attitude.
  • Aptitude working with computer systems.
  • Excellent phone skills.
  • Ability to react quickly and a strong desire to serve customers.
